Computer Science Class -
Preparing Students for College and the Professional World
is a two-year (11th and 12th grades) intensive technical program, which offers a seamless transition to a bachelor's degree at the university level. The strong career focused - college based curriculum includes areas of study in Software Engineering and Programming, Network Engineering, Web Design / Application Development, Security, and Databases. Students study professional license course work while developing real-world projects.
Programming
Python, C#, C++, PHP, and Java programming languages are topics included in the course. Command Line and GUI interface will be used in advanced level training.
Web Development
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery are just some of the topics covered in this course. Students will be create dynamic interactive web sites.
BPA
Business Professionals of America (BPA) - Compete in a local, state and national competition while learning your favorite IT topic.
MVTPS
Miami Valley Tech Prep Showcase - Create real world projects for real companies gaining valuable work experience and showing off the Technical and Soft skills you learn in competition.
